Fender Spring Hill Nashville Custom Shop Acoustic Guitar For Sale! This is one of the rarest Fender Custom Shop guitars you can buy, with only 440 guitars in total ever built at Fender's Nashville Custom Shop in the few years it existed from 1994 to early 1996. This was Fender taking on Gibson in their own backyard, with both company's custom shops only 30 miles apart at this time! This model cost 2k when it was released 30 years ago! This was Fender's biggest effort ever made at making a Gibson style Jumbo acoustic guitar, going as far to do so in Gibson's own backyard! Of the 440 acoustics, only few were this model and only a few were built without an ugly built-in pre-amp with volume and tone controls on a big plastic piece cut into the side of the body.
