BRAND NEW 1998 Jackson USA JJ1 that we found unsold hiding away in a small Italian guitar shop for the past 23 years! We got this along with a Jackson Surfcaster from the same era that also had not been sold! This is the only New Old Stock Jackson JJ1 in the world! Scott Ian himself from Anthrax commented on how remarkable this rare find is on our Instagram account. He would know, as this is his signature guitar. Jackson modeled this after the Gibson Les Paul Junior double cutaway model, thus it becoming the "Jackson Junior." Think of it as a Gibson on steroids. Better, more expensive everything. This model was a radical departure from the pointy 80's models Jackson was known for at the time and was itself way ahead of its time for the Jackson brand. It received a "serial killer" ransom note headstock logo only found on this model. It features mother-of-pearl dice inlays at the 12th fret. It has dual USA Seymour Duncan pickups and a Wilkinson bridge. This is a Gibson on steroids and features the top wood sought that is prized beyond all others by the main men in metal: Korina. This is arguably one of the most special USA Jackson's available for sale in the world. A total time capsule from 1998. If you want the very best example in the world, you are indeed looking at it.
